Occupational Therapist (Pediatrics – Speech Therapy Focus) Jobs
VR Speech and Hearing Clinic is seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) with expertise in Pediatric Therapy and a focus on Speech and Language Development. The ideal candidate will work closely with children and their families, using evidence-based and creative therapy techniques to enhance communication, motor, and cognitive skills. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic and compassionate care while maintaining thorough documentation in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.Key Responsibilities
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient assessments, therapy sessions, and progress in the EMR.
- Ensure all documentation complies with clinic and healthcare regulatory standards.
- Update therapy plans and individualized goals regularly in coordination with the care team.
- Work collaboratively with audiologists, speech therapists, pediatricians, and special educators to ensure a comprehensive therapy plan.
- Educate and train parents on home-based exercises and communication techniques to support ongoing therapy.
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and case reviews to ensure continuity of care.
- Stay current with the latest trends and techniques in pediatric occupational and speech therapy.
- Attend workshops, training sessions, and in-house programs to enhance clinical expertise.
- Be proactive in adopting innovative methods to improve therapy outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Occupational Therapy (BOT) or Master’s in Occupational Therapy (MOT).
- Valid Occupational Therapy certification and registration.
- Must be fluent in English and Telugu (knowledge of Hindi or Marathi is an added advantage).
- Strong interpersonal, observation, and communication skills.
